If doing an outdoor project and rain is forecasted, can I cover the area with plastic to protect the grout from rain? During wet conditions will the drying period be extended?
Quartz-Lock® Grout is an air-dried product. Covering the grout with plastic will interfere with the drying process. If rain conditions exist, we recommend using some type of shelter above the grout area. Humid conditions may slow the drying time slightly, so test the grout joints for full cure before allowing foot traffic.
