StarQuartz Industries, Inc. developed a urethane grout to complement its
quartz-urethane garage tile. Due to the tile’s aggressive non-slip surface, epoxy
grouts were very hard to wipe off of the tile surface. Additionally, cement grouts did
not offer sufficient stain resistance. This need spawned the birth of Quartz-Lock®
Grout. Our lab worked diligently and developed a compatible quartz-urethane grout
system that provided the stain resistance of epoxy grout with the ease of application
of a cement grout. Quartz-Lock® Grout is the
first major innovation in grout technology
since epoxy grout was introduced over three
decades ago. Over the years we have perfected
the formulation to provide a unique
